Product Selection
The product selection plant on the farm is multi-purpose, mostly used for the selection of lentils and spelt.
Packaging
The sorting plant is completed with an area dedicated to product packaging.
Transport
With our own vehicles we transport and deliver the products, guaranteeing a reliable and punctual service.
Spelt
Spelt has three different processes: pearling, husking and splitting.
The procedure for spelt is the most complex as the first job is the selection of the product where all impurities are removed, then comes the husking where it is shelled and lastly (if necessary) pearling takes place. For further improvement of the product, the spelt is passed over a colour machine, called Optic, which has the task of removing all the smaller impurities that the other machines were not able to recognise.
The Lentil
Processing the lentil, on the other hand, is much simpler. First of all, it too is sorted, removing all the impurities present. The lentil, unlike spelt, is sorted by weight by a specific machine that discards the lightest and/or stale product.
As a final operation, the lentil is also passed through the optical machine to obtain a perfectly clean product.
